An exquisite Banarasi bouquet. Magnificently handcrafted bunches of roses with three colours of meenakari, touches of gold and silver zari and the extraordinary kadhua weave. Understated grandeur.
-
Color - A beautiful and unusual shade of Aqua Green
-
Technique - Classic handwoven Banarasi Meenakari art passed down through generations. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process. An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric.
-
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
-
Speciality - This elegant saree has incredibly detailed kadhua meenakari floral bootas in the finest kadhua weave, a charming colour and subtle notes of zari.
-
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
- Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes only.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
