'Morning Dew' Off-White Pure Kora Silk by Cotton Handwoven Banarasi Saree

KC17

Morning Dew

An enchanting, diaphanous drape, adorned with kadhua Hydrangea floral motifs in Roopa Sona zari. The beautiful and intricately detailed bootas on the body are delicately balanced by pastels meenakari florals on a bed of gold zari.

  • Color - An always enchanting shade of Off-White
  • Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Classic handwoven Banarasi Meenakari art passed down through generations. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
  • Fabric - Pure Handwoven Kora Silk by Cotton
  • Speciality - With our collection O' October, we have introduced new motifs hitherto unfamiliar in our classic Banarasi textile vocabulary. This beautiful saree features the beautiful Hydrangea, woven in our eponymous Tilfi technique.
  • Note - The saree comes with an unstitched blouse piece. The pattern that the model is wearing can optionally be ordered below.

Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of handloom beauties?
