Once favoured by the royalty and the nobility, luxurious bird motif sarees make prized possessions! Woven in the finest Kadhua style on resplendent silk, this is a rich and  heritage piece.
-
Color - A marvellous shot colour with a warp of Purple and a weft of Royal Blue and a contrast colour border
-
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
-
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
-
Speciality - This season's favourites, and a Tilfi speciality, pieces with bird motifs are very trendy yet traditional. Kadiyal helps achieve a border in a sharply contrasting color using multiple changes in warp and the weft shuttle.
-
Tilfi Promise - Pure fabrics and genuine Banarasi handloom at a fair price

Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But isn't it charming that no-one else will ever own this beauty handmade just for you?
