Panther Trail
In a fresh take on Banarasi Shikargah art, this black satin silk plain-bodied drape features a leap of leopards moving along its borders, surrounded by dense flora of the jungle. A Banarasi classic featuring masterful Meenakari work, and a zari laden pallu.
-
Color - An always elegant shade of Black
-
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and Meenakari. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
-
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Satin Silk.
-
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
-
Note- The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
