A maroon pure Kora silk saree with dainty floral vines rendered in subtly undulating resham Meenakari stripes across the body. Inspired by the lush scenery and hues of Uttarakhand's Valley of Flowers, this is a gossamer drape of dreamlike handloom artistry. Finished with classic gold zari work on the borders and pallu.

• Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and Meenakari art. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
