Inspired by the sculptural body adornments of apsaras, Hemangini, named for its golden form, is a hand-crafted repoussé corset shaped in metal and defined by a cinched drape at the waist. Delicate repoussé borders frame the form, while the metal is manipulated into fluid, gathered folds that mimic the fall of fabric. Its softly padded interior allows the sculptural form to sit comfortably against the body. This interplay of metal and drape is a signature detail across our metalwork creations, bringing the softness and movement of textiles into a material of enduring strength.

Dimensions- Standard 8

Technique - Entirely handmade, repoussé is a testament to unparalleled skill and precision. The process begins with a malleable metal sheet, meticulously hammered from the reverse to create precise, raised patterns. With each strike, the artisans breathe life into the metal—layer by layer, form takes shape.
-
Material- Pure Brass
-
Speciality - The repoussé artworks created in our workshops challenge the very nature of metal, transforming it from a rigid, unyielding medium into forms that evoke the fluidity of fabric. Intricate folds, waves, and patterns emerge, capturing the gentle cascade of a silk drape.
