Aamodini
An enchanting delight, whose every inch is fragrant with everlasting artistry. This is an exquisitely detailed, classical drape. A beautiful plain silken body, set against conscientiously designed floral meenakari borders and pallu; a truly graceful interpretation of Banarasi artistry.
-
Color - A stunning shade of Midnight Blue
-
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
-
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
-
Speciality - Promoting, passing on and preserving the best of Banarasi weaving virtuosity, this distinctive drape is adorned with delicately detailed traditional borders and an exquisite paisley boota pallu; woven in mesmerising kadwa meenakari. A beautiful display of the delicacy of Jadunath Supakar's artworks.
-
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
- Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
