The instinctive movements of wildlife matched with the magnificence of nature. In a fresh take on Banarasi Shikargah art, this is a plain-bodied drape with a leap of leopards moving along its borders, surrounded by dense flora of the jungle.

Color - An elegant shade of Black
-
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure satin silk
-
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and the fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
