A Patola saree unlike any other! A spirited colour, a subtle geometric Tanchoi weave and an unconventional Patola border lends it a personality of its own. A classic dedicated to the rich weaving tradition of Patan, Gujarat.
-
Color - A beautiful shade of Magenta
-
Technique - A Gujarati Patola design created using a classic handwoven Banarasi Meenakari art passed down through generations. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process. The finest Tanchoi weaving technique, which employs one or more warps and multiple coloured wefts to produce a self-design which covers the body of the saree.
