A chic and fabulous Banarasi classic. It has the most delightful paisley bootis set against a checkered meena border in resplendent Katan Silk. Irreplaceable!
-
Color - A striking shade of Blue
-
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
-
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan Silk
-
Speciality - Beautiful paisley bootis across the body of the saree set against a checkered meena skirt and border.
- Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
