'Cypress' Handwoven Textile Wall Art

FKTKBGD10954C

MRP inc. of taxes

This textile art piece captures the quiet profundity of a motif that traverses civilizations. Inspired by Persian art, the cypress stands as a philosophical symbol—its slender, reaching form an emblem of eternal life. Handwoven in pure Banarasi tradition, the piece transforms this storied motif into a work of intricate beauty.

  • Dimensions- 16 X 24.25 inch
  • Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
  • Fabric - Pure Katan Silk Tissue
  • Speciality - Greek and Roman influences, entwined with the spiritual threads of Zoroastrianism, imbue the Cypress with a universal resonance that transcends cultural boundaries, finding its graceful culmination in the inspired elegance of Mughal artistry.
  • Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
  • Expected despatch time: 30 days
