A distinctive Banarasi classic in a beautiful palette. With its rich Tanchoi weave and uncommon zari Bootas along the skirt, this saree is for the strong modern woman who isn't afraid to stand out!
-
Color - A beautiful shade of Blue with a Green Tanchoi weave
-
Technique - An enduring Kadwa and the finest Tanchoi weaves. Kadwa or Kadhua is an elaborate and laborious technique which involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern which stands out on the fabric. Tanchoi employs one or more warps and multiple coloured wefts to produce a self-design which covers the body of the saree.
-
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
-
Speciality - An elegant, allover Tanchoi weave and a skirt border with a unique, bold motif, woven in the exquisite kadwa style in gold and antique zari.
-
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
