A celebration of nature’s abundance, this saree brings together motifs rich in divine symbolism. The stately Parijat tree, an embodiment of the sacred Tree of Life, takes prominence on the pallu, surrounded by intricate detailing. Woven in pure Katan silk using the aadha Rangkat technique, a gradual interplay of hues is portrayed across the body, lending the drape a striking tonal transition. Diagonal floral creepers are rendered in the intricate Kadhua technique with Roopa Sona zari and meenakari accents, enriching the deep palette and bringing distinction to this expression of Banarasi artistry.
-
Color: An unforgettable melody of Blues and Blacks, Roopa Sona zari
-
Technique: An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric.
-
Fabric:Pure Katan Silk
-
Speciality: Rangkat is a handloom technique which is on the verge of disappearing. Only a handful of weavers remain that can weave a true Rangkat. This exquisite and time-intensive technique can be identified by the sharp changes in the base colours of the fabric. This requires multiple changes in the warp and the weft and produces a beautiful multicoloured garment.

Collection Note:Tilfi’s Bridal Collection looks to the sculptural world of the Hoysala temples of Belur, drawing inspiration from the Madanika, the celestial maiden celebrated for her movement, adornment and feminine presence. Inspired by her idealised beauty and the poetry of Hoysala sculpture, Bridal 2026 translates this visual language through Banarasi textiles and hand-worked metal, bringing together the fluidity of silk and the sculptural presence of brass in a new expression of bridal adornment.
