As calm, serene and fluid as the waters of the Ganga, this is a beautiful Banarasi khaddi saree with individually handwoven motifs in silver zari. The intricate motifs, delicate zari and subtle colour, make this an altogether enthralling piece.

Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric.
