Nestled within the venerable corridors of the recently inaugurated New Parliament House, the Shilp Gallery aims to celebrate the rich cultural history of India. The gallery has been designed by the New Delhi-based NGO Dastkari Haat Samiti, whose president Jaya Jaitly refers to traditional handicraft and the communities that produce them as "the creative soul" behind Indian artisanal heritage.
