Beige-Grey Pure Soft Satin Silk Saree Banarasi Handloom Saree

A beautiful beige-grey saree on a bed of pure soft satin silk, displaying an all-over evenly textured pattern handwoven in Tanchoi and embelished with classic golden zari bootis separately woven in Kadhua. Finished with a gold zari border, this saree is a magnificent marriage of classic motifs and contemporary textures for a statement piece.

• Technique - The finest Tanchoi technique. Tanchoi employs one or more warps and multiple coloured wefts to produce a self-design which covers the body of the saree. An enduring Kadwa weave. This elaborate and laborious technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern which stands out on the fabric.
• Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
