Aki
An exquisite presentation of orchids and branches masterfully woven in zari and meenakari Jamdani. Stylistically inspired by the structures of Ikebana's autumn (Aki) arrangements, the patterning imagines dry twigs and fewer florals with real silver zari enhancing the yards without overpowering their quiet beauty.
-
Color - A delicate shade of Terracotta Red
-
Technique - Magical Jamdani. A technique that traces its roots to the region of Dhaka, Jamdani is known for its extremely fine quality and ethereal appeal. The patterns are made using discontinuous brocading of heavier threads on a lighter, translucent backdrop of fabric, akin to loom-embroidery. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
-
Fabric - Light, Airy and Translucent, pure Cotton

Collection Note-Tilfi's ‘The Way of Flowers’ collection transcends traditional patterns through the confluence of Japanese and Indian art forms. Each saree is a canvas, portraying the principles and styles of Ikebana, the Japanese classical art of flower arrangement. Ikebana’s essence of minimalism, harmony, and seasonal sensitivity is thoughtfully interwoven in Banarasi real zari Jamdanis, for a design language that is both subtle and profound.
